A Pilot-Tug Exchange (PTX) within the eMPX app enhances safety and efficiency by ensuring that critical information, such as tug positions, safe working loads, and bollard pulls, is accurately communicated and documented. This exchange allows for clear, real-time coordination between the pilot and tug skippers, minimising risks and ensuring that all parties have a shared understanding of the operational plan, which is crucial for safe and efficient manoeuvring of the vessel.
Our app’s passage planning feature is essential for ensuring safe navigation, as it integrates tidal data from UKHO to provide accurate Under Keel Clearance (UKC) calculations for every part of the passage.
